Stone Meal Farm

No Synthetic Chemicals

No Pesticides

No Herbicides

A 1 acre market garden located in Corralitos, CA (Santa Cruz County) striving to provide its community the most nourishing seasonal vegetables, greens, herbs and flowers around while also growing the soil.

We have a commitment to not use any type of pesticide or herbicide (even the ones allowed in organic production!). Instead of attacking the so called “pests” we use them as indicators to let us know something is missing (water/ air/ microbes/ minerals) or the timing was off (temperature/ day length).

We do this because we know a truly healthy plant will have an immune system capable of defending itself and quite frankly we do not want to consume plants that don't! The plants are a lot smarter than we think and if we would just provide them with the balanced nutrition they desire they in turn will provide us with what we need.
Have any questions please ask.

Thomas & Rebeccah

Our goal, as part of the new agrarians here in Santa Cruz County, is to help build a sound local economy where producers and consumers are neighbors.  Cultivating a healthy community is our business.  When we get together, we grow together.

The two of us wear all the hats at Stone Meal Farm.  We sell all our produce and flowers directly to our customers through the

Santa Cruz Community Farmers Markets

We value the relationships we have with our customers and feel our time at market is of equal importance to our time in the field.  Our quality of life increases when we spend time with our customers and as members of the community.  The social interactions at the farmers market are as much a ritual of good health as the beautiful fresh foods available.

Stone Meal Farm is your local, community based, sustainable farm

Know your farmers, invest in your community, and above all else,  invest in yourself!
